It's been confirmed that the 2009 London Stampede will be on the 1st Nov.

It's a one day event from 9:30am to 5pm.

Cost will be £15, with £3 of that going towards charity.

Lot's of Prizes, crazy rules, relaxed atmosphere, & a fun time guarantied, or your money back*!!

First event was 16, 2nd was 20, and the last was 24 .... lets see if we can get 30+ this time!!

Now that they have blown up the Torchwood base in Cardiff, things should be a lot easier for you lads out there.

You'll need just under 500pts, and 3 non-epic Casters ... rules will be up by the end of the week.

Jame, manchester is commutable easily. It is 2 hours by train and kings x is easy to get most places.

mm, train is hugely expensive on early mornings and the drive would be a killer, but il look into it

Certainly doable journey wise, the guys from Tanelorn came up to CACK last year for Golden Troll, which is a longer journey than from Stockport way.

What stops me coming to this is the wedding in October, else I would.

I just tried to price up a ticket, Manchester to London (Kings Cross or Euston) and couldn't find one that gets me in before 9am on a Sunday. This was on the Trainline website.

Look at South Western Trains for cheap tickets, on Virgin Main line service, it runs from Stoke to Euston station and takes and hour and half.

Not sure on time but it's how I went when I went in March/April time.

This may add to the cost ... and this may not suit everyone ... however when we go far away to a 1 day event, we stop over that night before.

There is a Premier Inn not far, and a good Beefeater next door for dinner ... plus if you are there and let us know, we can pop a long for a pint the night before too!

Edit: Next year we are looking at a 2 day event ... it's just the Venue thats the issue atm, Saturdays (+Nights) are used for Weddings atm ....

The hotel is a nice idea but my wife is seeing Pink at the NIA on 31st and I'm the taxi, so I'll have to give it a miss.
