jump pack

Postby koolking » Sun Nov 15, 2015 11:21 pm

Hello,

I am thinking about giving one of my models a jump pack. The rules tell me that jp's help the model/unit move faster. However, I cannot find anywhere that tells me how it does that or how it affects the model/unit...! I've looked under types of models/units (i.e. infantry) but can't find an answer to my question. --How does it navigate difficult terrain? Can it be used to jump over objects or even buildings? Can it be used to attack a model/unit from behind (assuming that makes any difference). Or something else?

(Sigh) I am really, really frustrated with this rule book.

Can someone help?

TIA,
kk

It's all covered on page 65 under Jump Units of the Rule Book ;)

Taking a Jump Pack classifies the model as Jump Infantry.

As Gaz says, covered on page 65.

Thank you for replying.

I checked page 65 of 7th Ed. (the pdf) and the only thing there was some pix of several models. There were no rules there at all.

TIA,
kk
