How many teams are genuinely going next year?

Postby stevec » Mon Oct 09, 2017 9:03 am

So guys there is much debate about v4 and it's viability going forward. How many teams are going 100% next year how many are struggling for players and how many are not going?

I know England are going.

I do not speak on behalf of the England team just a concerned player?

Team Slovenia is coming. Zagreb is so close to us we just can't miss it. V4 has been well accepted (especially with the recent changes) in our corners and we haven't suffered any player fluctuation because of it.

I also trust and don't doubt the commitee will do an excellent job in preparing a rules pack.

For Austria it's the same as for Slovenia - it's to close for us to even think of skipping 2018 :)

I hope to put together a team from Dk for 2018.
Since people are only playing V.4 in Dk, there should be a good chance that we can put together a team,.. but definately.. you never know until you know

Team Italy will come.
We are pretty close to Zagreb too. V4 is not going very well over here but there are enough players to play and train a bit!

Edit: grim situation with the hobby around here. Not sure is the correct answer as far as now.

Romania will be there.
The team *is* the community and we have all switched to v4, so there is no issue here.

We are hearing that several teams are dropping out this year.
Can we do a "head count" of teams that will definitely be there?
There seems to be a few UK based teams struggling to find players and I wonder if other nations are having similar issues?

Bit early for us to tell - we usually form our team over the Christmas/New Year period.

The Spanish qualifier will probably take place in February, with a minimum of three teams involved.

Unfortunately team Northern Ireland will not be attending the ETC in 2018. There are simply insufficient players of early war V4. I can vouch for the fact that mid war is a different story and there will be healthy competition for places in 2019, so enjoy the tournament and see you all next year!

Cheers

Sorry to hear that.

Wales in the same position we are still trying to form a team. So is Scotland. Seems people who are interested are really going for the meet up rather the games. Also more excitement for MW.

So if Team NI, Team Wales and Team Scotland are struggeling to form team each maybe its time to think about combining forces to sent two teams instead of none?

Team Ireland are also struggling, but discussions are still ongoing.

We really should've picked MW, we'd have plenty of interest in creating a team then.

Ok, latest update is that Team Ireland will not be attending the ETC this year.

No one is playing V4 EW. A pity that MW wasn't chosen as the period, there would have been attendance then.
