Two things I want to discuss first:

1. Is there any reason not to merge the 40k and the WFB forums?
We simply will have a better overview what's going on and 40k won't be that much aside from any important discussion, from which they will have an impact too. So my please is to think about making a single forum instead of two.

2. We need a discussion about the ETC agenda. Asger starts one some month ago. Two major points should be fixed there:
- what the TWF community will make by volunteers beforehand and what the organizers have to do themself
- the ETC government (GO), a small group of veterans (WFB and 40k) who can decide most of the things which have to be decided and the responsible guys to contact

I will start seperat threads for each topic soon, but wanted to inform you what's up next :)

Cheers
Olaf

Why not, as far as 40k is concerned we have few activity in our public forum anyway, most of the work is done in the private section.

We just need to make sure that people looking for 40k info wont have to go through pages of WFB thread in search of what they came to find...That can be adressed by a simple tag policy at the begining of each thread title like :
tag "[ETC]" : thread adressing the ETC in general, its organisation, or aspects that involve both 40k and WFB communities
tag "[WFB]" : thread adressing topics which interest the WFB-ers only
tag "[40k]" : thread adressing topics which interest the 40k-ers only

That, and a couple of stickies should make it work perfectly. Plus of course, mod rights for the 40k referents, which would be probably Felix and I atm.

Very good idea to make a single forum, good initiatives overall too...keep it up ;-)

It is looking good! Can't we simply skip the winter and fast forward to august 2009?

Good idea with one forum. And lets try to "enforce" the tags in the thread title.

Will there be a side event this year as well? If so, how many places will there be?

Author:  LeonDeGrande [ Thu Oct 30, 2008 10:59 am ]
Post subject:

Yes, there will be sideevents for WFB and 40k. How many places we can offer will be announced later. I will ask internally and reply here ASAP.

Can you guys please confirm how many row refs we will have for the Fantasy tournament.

I would like to have a ref briefing before the event goes live. Maybe Friday or certainly at the latest, early on Saturday before the event goes live.

Friday at the latest, during our exhibition game.
The 15 minutes pep talks just before the tournament are a last resort.

Hi Leon,

Would that be possible to have a bit of an update on the 40k guys responsible for the things ?

Is there any way we can get some of the most important infos or updates in the 40k forum for easier reach by the 40k captains who dont come here really often to say the least...?

cheers

Tell Matthias - "Country Expects".
Then force feed him all the data since 7th edition. An hour should be enough for him to memorize it.
Seriously - respect your national treasures. Matthias is one of them.

Just use the contact possibility via Tabletoptournaments: Fred (Echsodus) or Daniel (sith-park).

@Jedy Knight

I hope the replacement Matthias was a worthy padawan. ;)
