Where to get grass-style table cloth?

Postby RafaelPolit » Wed Sep 16, 2009 10:02 pm

Friends, watching the Colours 2009 report, I was wondering where I could purchase this type of grass-styled tablecloth? I think it really adds to the game, and we have been playing with cards-type tablecloth, which is just not the same. Thanks for any info on possible shops/online sellers.

Thanks again!

Thanks a lot for the responses, but the GW site has no option to add it to cart and other sites, like maelstrom, list the item as 'no longer available'. Is this no longer produced? Is there a replacement somewhere?

Thanks a lot!
Rafa.

Just look at those creases, no thanks.

Carpet tiles for me or just painted terrain boards.

Yeah that's their new mat, material-based and folded up rather than paper-based and rolled like the old one. Either way creases are an issue unless you glue the bugger permanently onto a board.

Rafael for a cheaper option, consider getting a couple of metres of polarfleece cloth in a suitable shade.
It's similar enough to static grass to look good and movement trays slide across it easily without it crinkling up like plain cloth, doesn't hold creases and when stretched out over a board seems to stick in place nicely. All I use, and it cost me less than NZ$20.

I use a roll of cheap green carpet.
The very cheap stuff is best.

I just have to find some sand coloured carpet for my moderns.

Re the creases in the Battlemat; you can (carefully) iron them out from the back and if you store it carefully (rolled up rather than folded), the creases fall out by themselves after a while.

You can also lay heavy books on it as well and leave it for a week. The creases will vanish.

Due to the fact high quality patio and garden furniture was made to hold up against the weather, you could possibly ponder whether patio and garden furniture protects are truly necessary. Garden and patio furniture protects present an additional covering associated with security to keep the patio furniture in great shape, in order to extending their life. You must think of contributing patio and garden furniture protects whenever the home furniture will not being used to get a long or maybe you anticipate badly rough weather.
