Its that time again when I put on another one dayer for the lovely folks here in PP land.

This time I will be echoing the WM launch event of earlier in the year with the Hordes MKII genesis event.

The date will be Sunday 15th August 2010 and will run from as early as we can get into the hall. (Around 9.00 kick off), till we are done. Post the event you are all welcome to stay and partake in the fun of a Tanelorn post tourney game session which normally involves whatever the newest board game we have brought. Currently that is cash and guns I think, but who knows what Gencon will bring.

Initially I will open this up to 16 players, but will take four reserves and if we get the interest I will push to a 20 man event.

Hopefully the Welsh boys will make the trek across the bridge again, and if any of you chaps want to rock up from the north, please do. Martyn, you know the tube isn't as scary as all that, maybe you can show everyone else from the valley just how brae a firestorm fairy can be in the deep dark tunnels of the underground. This isn't a London exclusive event.

If the event consists of 16 players we will play 4 ronds as per the Genesis rules here:

rounds will be 25, 35, 50 , 50

In the event of 20 players we will use a 25, 25, 35, 35, 50 system.

The event will cost £8 for Tanelorn Members and £10 for non members.
Prizes will include the Hordes faction coins (sorry, no minion coin was contained), the coin for best player on the day, more prize support to be announced. Ok its not quite PP banners, but it should be something good. I promise not to take all afternoon to announce the winners either

Well, competition for best in Skorne is fierce. Anyone else want to turn up and win a coin for something other than Molik, I mean Skorne...

Pfff.... Aaron is like most new Skorne players ... a band wagon jumper ... I'm not scared of him!

Although ... I was planing on taking a nice balanced force with no Molik, but as it seems Aaron wants to one-button-win again I'll have to start asking Phil for permission to use Molik. (so blame Aaron not me!)

9ams a bit too early a start for me to find my way into London, but I think the event should be titled "Tanelorn Genesis : War of whiners". You're going to have Snape whining about Skorne and everyone else whining about Molik not getting the nerf bat while Legion players giving evil eyes to everyone else the entire time.

Britcon weekend or my legion would be there to support the pyramid!

Sounds like it will be a cool event, but the lack of a hordes force, plus the addition of a small child, means I am not going to be able to attend. I wish I could though, it would be worth it just to play against Skorne forces without Molik! I am sure this will be a once in a lifetime happening!
