Warmachine / Hordes scenery / terrain

Postby dadcubed » Thu Jan 22, 2015 6:51 pm

I've got lots of generic wargame scenery / terrain etc but wanted some steampunk style scenery to add to my collection that would work really well for Warmachine.

What ranges do people use? Anyone scratch build anything really awesome?

I use the 2D scenery produced by counter attack bases. Doesn't look hugely pretty, but for games mechanic and "toe in" it's perfect.

I used the hirst art pipe molds to knock some steam punk bits and pieces.

Just basic stuff but serviceable and fun to build with.

Have a look at www.solidgroundstudios.Co.uk

There is a lot of specialised resin scenery that will work very nicely with Warmachine and Hordes.

It has become quite popular of late and will be a prominent feature at Smogcon 2016, follow @smogcon or @sgs_nick to see some of that on Twitter if you're interested on how good it is.
