ETC Awards, Discussion and Predictions

Postby ukrocky » Thu Jul 20, 2017 10:01 am

Morning all!

With such seriousness in other threads with penalties and rants galore, this is a thread just for a bit of fun to point out fun things or make predictions, to get us started...

Ashes Winners: England, with a capped out win.
Gashes (Ireland vs Wales) winners: Wales, with it being 80-80 then Wales enforcing the 1TP hit for spears.
Most Ballsy lists: The team with triple dragon...
Most interesting lists: France. Some cool lists.
Winners: Spain. When there's 7 Spanish people at each table vs 1 from another nation it's hard to win.
Most OP unit: Peasants, but only with spears.
Top player: Irish KoE, see above.
Wooden Spoon: Scotland. Guaranteed.

Just enough to get us started :)

I'm still not entirely convinced Team USA will make it back from the pre ETC party in Alicante, especially if the Swedes get drinking heavily.

May be an easy R1 one for their opponents in this case.

Best Coach: Woody. Team Ireland.
Winners: Denmark
I think England can podium if they play it well.
Poland and Germany to finish in the top 4.
Wooden spoon: hopefully Ireland and NZ in a playoff at the end to get drunk and have fun.

And most importantly, Most Sporting: Between Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Serbia, Belgium and NZ.

If I had to bet on it I'd go with NZ, with Serbia and Belgium tied for 2nd. (Obviously not counting us)

See you in Salamanca.

Woody.

Actual top 3 (in order): Italy 1, France 2, Russia 3.

Ashes: England to carry it, I think the team has more depth. Plus Australia lost to Wales in practice, who does that?

Gashes: I agree with Colin, the bar is the winner here. The loser is whoever wins Woody's attentions.

Highest scoring individual list: one of the VC dragon lists.
