Discussion about ESC List Submission

Postby pizzaguardian » Mon Jul 10, 2017 10:42 am

What are your opinions for sending ESC list before hand?

In my opinion there are 2 options;

1. No submission, but if your list has ANY mistake and this is noticed in the tournament you will be DQ'ed your match results will be overturned.

2. List submission done on the forum publicly, possibly under this topic. Final deadline of 1 week before the tournament, if not submitted due date, possible penalties.

As quite a number of participants are part of the ETC-teams and therefore their lists are published allready, I would prefer that all lists are published to have equal treatment for all particiapants.

Cheers,
Peter

Theres over 130 ESC participants this year..... what a nightmare. I vote no list submission BUT that each round you have to either hand your opponent a copy of your list or send him the list in a text document (or just copy and paste it) through whatsapp.

Will the "bring your list and show your opponenet" option be the official one?

What happens with those that do not bring their list? (100 % someone will forget/don't care :D)

So do we stick with the first option mentioned in the first post? This would include "no list to show" imho.

And my guess would be that a quarter of the players do not see the final round due to ANY slight mistake in their lists leading to disqualification.

What will be the result of the disqualifications to the oponents which had allready played against those players? 0:0 or 20:0?

I would be gratefull for a clarification.
Thanks,
Peter

You have to bring your list and they have to be correct. It is only 1 list, players can make sure they are correct since it is really not that hard.

If they don't care enough to bring list, ı guess they don't care enough to play.

Update after discussing with the refs.

YOU HAVE TO BRING AT LEAST 2 COPIES OF YOUR LIST. ONE OF THOSE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE REFEREES.
