Wargames Association of Reading are proud to present Winnersh War.
To be held on Sunday 22nd August at Winnersh Community Centre (RG41 5DU, just east of Reading).

This will be an 8th edition competition with three games on the day. Cost will be around £15 which includes lunch.

Edit 7th June: Going to start taking names now that we have Sufficient interest in the tournment.

Heres the comp (Its also in the rulespack, some people may want to see it before deciding if they are interested.

No Triple Special/Double Rare (High elves no Quad special or triple Rare. Treeman aincients and aincient stegadons count towards this limit.
Maximum 4 Chariots
Maximum 4 War Machines
Maximum of 50 shots with a 24" range or greater. All war machines count as 5 towards this limit
No more than 12 Power or dispel dice can be used in any one magic phase
Immortal Fury and Siren Song are mutually exclusive in the same army

I'm interested too!

I don't think 2k in 8th edition will be enough points. I think 2,400pts would be closer to the value that the new edition will play at.

Hi that was me asking about the age limit. My mum would be able to accompany me and i came 3rd in most recent Brighton tournament. My name is Ryan Mclellan and Cybergma was at that tournament if you need reasurrance.

2000 points tentatively. Comp is fairly meaningless for this currently as it'll be 8th and no one's played it yet to tell.
