It turns out my question is irrelevant, as I am intact at Teesside that weekend. Really need to write down what tournaments I'm going to!

Hi everyone

Quick update whilst I'm on holiday. I want the armies for this competition to have some balance, certain things will hit the -200 automatically whilst others will be be a bit harder to judge and will have to be banded and then rejected. I will go through and put together a list of certain things that I don't want to see at the competition. Some examples are a bloodthirster with re-rolls, 2 units of flamers, the avoidance and shoot dark elves, war machine heavy dwarves, four spell casters in a warriors army, the blood dragon/black knight bus, multiple engines of the gods, raise heavy VCs, etc.

I will go through properaly on my return next week and let everyone know by email. I want to try and make this competition about hard armies, but also a fairly fair playing field much like Dan did with the South Coast GT back in April.

Andy

Only 4 games of 40k? Isn't it faster than FB usually?

Why only 4 games for 40k? :?

I think it clashes with Heat 3 otherwise i would have been very tempted to come down for it :)

The 40K organiser wants to run it as 4 games only.

Can I ask how many spaces you have left for each event? Still undecided as to which I would enter.

I've been told the number of places is unlimited but I'll cap it myself at 50 each (100 in total)

I ahve about 30 signed up for Fantasy and about 15 for 40K.

Drop me an email to book a place.
