For all of you coming to Open War there has been a slight change. Due to unforeseen price increases in both food and set up costs by GW for this event we are unable to supply Coffee and Doughnuts on arrival as we had previously stated. I apologise if this upsets anyone but as Open War is a charity event and we give all profits after expenditures to charity im sure you will understand our wish not to make this amount considerably smaller.

As opposed to DOC, DE, VC, Lizards (expecting to see the three engine list in 1999)

Hmmm 3 days to go and 40 hobgoblins & 5 black orcs left to paint.

I may be slightly sleep deprived on sat morning.

What rules are being used for Chaos Dwarfs? The Ravening Hordes list or the new Indy GT book?

As your paying full price you will be entered into the raffle. you will be given a raffle number at some pointin the day.

Your awards will be tagged on after the rest of the OW awards

Bernard Lewis has come down sick with the flu so there is a spare ticket for anyone who wants it.

Just let me know asap and we can get you the entry number.

@ Matt,
Have you a reserve that would take the ticket straight away?

first off friday night i went to bugmans Halloween party, the scariest sight had to be ben curry dressed as a sexy nurse, which i could only describe as "very...". even more scary the fact he confessed to liking dressing that way.

thanks to lukerooney (an congrats) jimmy balderstone and si danby for 3 good games (there are more indepth reports elsewhere)

i finished on a win a loss an a draw with a completly borrowed high elf army i'd never used before. but as borrowed got last due to a big fat 0 for my painting score. woop!
