Are there trophies or prizes? If so for which awards?

Also would you be happy for people to include their scores within the national league and player rankings?

Doubt I'll be able to make this (2-dayer) but hope it goes really well!

Yes Mark there will be certificates and there will also be store credit for the overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, along with best painted and best highlander.

The scoring for this event is a little different to that of the national league however I will collect the results of every game and apply the 20-0 scoring from the national league to it. Then I will send those results in for everyone that attends, so that the event will count towards the league too; if that is agreeable to yourself buddy :)

Really hope that some of you can make it down to the weekend!

Hi James

Yes I am looking to attend myself I am just looking at who else wants to come along too. As soon as I have solid numbers I will arrange tickets etc.
I am quite happy to help promote your event, so feel free to register on the forum and put a post up about your event in the events board. You can also put a post up in the stores board to advertise Wayland too (although they are quite well known  )

There is also the Champions of Destiny Facebook group which is for 8th Ed gamers and events organisers alike, so please do join us and invite others, as networking together is a great way of supporting each others events and keeping the hobby alive. I only ever run 1 day events and usually plan these out so that there is plenty of time between events, so that we all get good turn outs.

Great event brought back some awesome memories . Tally comp really does work scoring was nice missions where a bit quirky would have liked to have seen something like capture objectives with units only, would be a good addition . Good venue and food next time I'll bring some board games over Saturday night takeaway and board games go down well with a group after an event.

Overall awesome experience nice to see people out there playing hopefully more people will come back to the game and try it with a different approach to before, it's nice not playing bet meta lists and running some of the quirky stuff.

Well done to the Lamin brothers for running the event.
