8th Ed League - Play Session - Warhammer World 15 & 16 July 2017

Postby ghengiskickbuttalot » Fri May 12, 2017 9:41 pm

Hi everyone

There will be an Organised Play Session held at Warhammer World on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th July.

Admission Free

Games are to be played between 1500 - 2500pts standard 8th Ed.

Full End Times games 2500pts - 3000pts

There are no comps to the rules. You may also play games using Forgeworld Rules & Models if desired.

You can challenge an oponent to a game, but only if they are currently ranked above you, or equal to you. You may not challenge players ranked below you.

Saturday
End Times legendery battle up to 9000 points per side - 3000 points per player max 6 players per table

Players so far:
Warren Stevens
Julie Stevens
Mark Peat

Sunday
Standard gaming using either pre End Times or End Times rules.

Players so far:
Matt Stafford
Lynsey Swift
Travis Wood
Andrew Hogan
Alex Hogan
Mark Peat

I will endevour to ensure everyone gets their full number of games for the day/s. bare in mind some games may take longer than others, so if you plan to play larger games of 2500 - 3000pts, it may only be possible to play 2 games maximum, so I advise perhaps a few smaller games @ 1500 - 2000pts first finishing with a 2500 - 3000pts game for your final game if you have the time, or play something smaller if need be.

All you need to do to take part is put your name down by posting either on this thread, or on the Facebook group.

Facebook Group:

League Information:

Please ensure you have with you, hard copies of your army lists and either hard/electronic copies of any rules, army books, FAQ's or Errata you intend to use on the day.

Do also ensure you bring with you: Dice, a tape measure and any templates you may need for the day.

New players to the league are more than welcome to join in and you have until the end of season next February to complete you full number of games required for the season - so come along, meet some new people and enjoy the hobby together.

Hope that all makes sense - just ask if you have any quiries.

A brief note on Food:

Bugmans Bar does do food to order, however it is advised that you order in advance due to food taking up to 1hr to be prepared.

We therefore suggest the best option to be to bring and packed lunch, or visit the local McDonalds Drive Thru.
