Actually I recall you being quite the speed painter when you wanted to be. A post several years ago regarding I think Night Goblins comes to mind.

Re: The Glass Cabinet Club 200 (painting support group)

What if I miss a month? Real life gets in the way sometimes for us all, or we get tired of our toys, or something distracts us. No problem. You can take a break for 2 of the 12 months, either make up your losses in super productive subsequent months, or scale back your end of year target to a 2000 ...

Re: Opinions on treeman wanted

Nice looking wood-skin effect deng_ham. For your army, this is what I think i'd try: you already own the old metal one, so that works for budget. Get a razor saw and cut him across the waist. drill in, give him about 3 inches more height, fill in with a mix of green stuff/miliput for strength & ...

To be honest I would have given up on my Skaven project if it were not for this GC XII. Me too, was quite the grind to sort out that last batch of spider riders, so many other things happening and I'm travelling a fair bit which doesn't make things easier. Still once the spiders were done seemed mo...

Absolutely awesome army in the making! Attention to detail in the varying conversions is great and that alter is stunning and so in theme with the army as a whole. Very atmospheric paint style too.
Very cool rag-tag detachments.

Thanks Vidd :) I almost skipped this month, thinking that interest among the rest was waning. But then as the other guys posted, I felt bad and rushed to get at least something done. Great job- especially on the head mechanic- really brought out the character in his face. Agreed, but that applies to Yuri and the Underboss as well, really great stuff. If at least 2 people of my gaming group would shift game systems to WM/H I'd snap it up instantly... As it is they're elf players...

Re: Just when I was starting to like this plastic thing.....

That's a reasonable point on the artisanship, but there are plenty of sculptors about at the moment, probably more than there has ever been. It seems a new company sets up every fortnight! So I'm not too worried about species extinction. I wasn't actually aware of how prolific miniature sculptors w...

Haha  Its only the beginning of the computer-plastic thing though and despite the above, I don't think its overwhelmingly bad for miniature gamers/collectors, reckon it'll only get better. Let's face it you'd rather be carving up plastic then metal in terms of conversions and dropped painted pl...

Thanks guys. :) Mark V and superfiend, the colour schemes are certainly not mine (in as much as that term can be applied to colour schemes), the red one's from the painted examples in the O&G army book. Slight variations perhaps but same overall effect, all quite GW and fairly common Ork/Orc col...

An overdue update on the previously grey spider bits. *** Triprot paused at the top of the precipice, his fellow spider riders came abreast and scanned the battle.
